Leonardo da Vinci | Il Genio a Milano
SYNOPSIS
Painter, sculptor, scientist, musician, expert of anatomy and physics, botanist, architect, inventor: surpassing the spirit of his time, Leonardo da Vinci is today identified as the image of a genius. The artist Da Vinci was a versatile man and his enormous legacy of studies and art works proves it.
Leonardo da Vinci | The Genius in Milan explores the period the artist lived in Milan, offering the chance to transform the numerous scenes of Leonardo in Milan into cinematographic tableaux: the Sforzesco Castle, the “Leonardo da Vinci” Museum of Science and Technology, the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the Navigli, the Vineyard di Leonardo and the famous Last Supper. With the support of Pietro Marani – curator of the exhibition – and some of the world’s leading experts on Leonardo da Vinci and authors who have explored his personality – Claudio Giorgione, Maria Teresa Fiorio, Richard Schofield, Vittorio Sgarbi, Daniela Pizzagalli – the result is a story that can open up new perspectives and unravel extraordinary worlds.
