ON STAGE IN FIVE MINUTES

A delicate story of dependence between a woman – a stage actress – and her mother, who is no longer self-sufficient, that intertwines fiction and real life against a background of the passage of female generations.

Gianna is a daughter who has to take care of her old and awkward mother. She is also an actress with a play that she has to put on to the stage amidst thousands of difficulties. Not least, she is a woman at the beginning of a love story which is struggling to find its space. A film, that like a game of Chinese boxes, tells us, with a smile, about taking care of somebody who needs us, mixing documentary, theatre and fiction.
