30^th edition of Annecy Cinéma Italien

At the 30^TH edition of Annecy Cinéma Italien, ALL THE SOUNDS OF THE SEA by Federico Brugia has been awarded the Special Jury Award, chaired by Pascal Thomas and made up of Gianni Amelio, Francesco Bruni, Felice Laudadio and Reinhardt Wagner.

This is an important acknowledgement for Brugia’s cinematographic debut, which was released in Italian cinemas on August 24^TH with Maremosso by Luca Lucini and Raffaello Pianigiani. 

The journey creating visibility for the film begun last March at Bif&st with a large audience and critical success and will continue this fall.

A prestigious acknowledgement has been given to another film in competition by the Milanese production company: the debut film by the director Laura Chiossone ON STAGE IN FIVE MINUTES has won the CICAE Pierre Todeschini Award. This award is presented by the jury of the Confédération Internationale des cinémas d’art et d’essai and establishes Maremosso as a production and distribution company capable of providing a product that tells universal stories and that would encounter difficulties getting on to the big screen if the traditional path of commercial cinema were followed.
